Regis University is a private, coeducational, Catholic university located in Denver, Colorado. Founded in 1877 by the Society of Jesus, it is one of 28 member institutions of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities. Aside from its 81-acre main campus in Denver, Colorado known as the Lowell campus, Regis University has satellite campuses in Colorado Springs, Denver Technology Center, Interlocken at Broomfield, Fort Collins, Longmont, Aurora, and Las Vegas, Nevada.
Accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association, the university offers its students a broad range of degrees and certificates through its three academic colleges; namely, Regis College which is a liberal arts, sciences, and pre-professional college for traditional age high school graduates; the Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions which grants degree and certificate programs for careers in the health professions; and the College for Professional Studies which offers degrees and certificates for adult students both on campus and online.
A pioneer in online education for adults, Regis University launched its online MBA program in 1997 when the Internet was still in its infancy stage. Today, it offers a total of 350 online courses including Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in such areas as business, education, technology, criminology, and public administration for working adult students especially those too busy to attend traditional classes. Regis University Online was recently included in The Best Collegesrankings of the best online colleges.
Tuition cost per credit hour for online degrees and certificates vary according to the chosen program of study and number of courses taken. Financial aid is extended in the form of loans, grants and scholarships to help students pay for their cost of tuition.
