In today's world, a bachelor's degree isn't always sufficient to stand out from the crowd and many people are choosing to get their Masters degree. One of the more popular Masters degrees is the MBA which prepares its recipient for higher level positions within corporations and businesses.
At Brainz we think that getting to get an advanced college education is one of the most important choices a person makes. While there are plenty of good MBA schools out there, there are also plenty of MBA programs that are more interested in making a profit than providing a good education.
Because of this disparity in quality between programs, we believe in highlighting rankings that do a good job of separating the top programs out from all the rest. When we highlight a ranking, we feel strongly enough that it's editorial standards are high enough that we could recommend any school on the list without hesitation.
And that's how we see rankings. It's not that you should only go to the very highest ranked school. But a ranking narrows your choices down from several thousand to just 50 or 25 or 10.
In their ranking of the top online MBA programs of 2012, SuperScholar has put together what it considers to be Smart Choices for an online MBA distance education. Upon looking through their list, we were impressed with the schools enough to determine that of all the rankings we could find for online MBA programs in 2012, this one was best of the bunch.
