Western New England College Online

Western New England College (WNEC) is a private learning institute located in Springfield, Massachusetts. It traces its origins to 1919 when it was established as an off-site evening division of Northeastern College which held evening classes for part-time students. In 1951, the school became independent and Western New England College saw light.

Today, the WNEC campus in Springfield is made up of 24 major buildings and numerous athletic and recreational fields. Accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, it offers undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degree programs through its academic Schools of Arts and Sciences; Business; Engineering; Law; and Pharmacy.

Apart from its campus-based degree programs, WNEC also offers online degree programs for busy working adults who either want to continue their undergraduate studies or pursue higher education. For students who have already earned their associate degrees but want to continue on to earn a bachelor’s degree, WNEC offers its Online BBA program. This is a part-time degree completion program that students can take completely online. On the other hand, those who want to pursue a Master’s degree but are too busy with work or family can also enroll in online Master’s degree programs through the university’s School of Arts and Sciences; Business; and Engineering.

Cost of tuition for graduate studies and adult learning varies and is charged either on a per-credit or a per-three-credit course basis. For part-time undergraduate studies, cost of tuition is US$523 per credit or US$1,569 per course. A variety of payment options is available to help students finance their education. Financial aid is extended in the form of loans, grants and scholarships for deserving students.
