What Are the Symptoms of Swine Flu ?

The Symptoms of Swine Flu are similar to regular strains of human influenza. However because of it's relative new acute developments it can have a harsher effect on the human body. Also at this time there is not a public Swine Flu Vaccine Program available thus making this particular strain of flu more of a problem. The World Health Organization declared Swine Flu a pandemic in early 2009.

"The symptoms of H1N1 (swine) flu in people are similar to the symptoms of regular human flu and include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue. Some people have reported diarrhea and vomiting associated with H1N1 (swine) flu. In the past, severe illness (pneumonia and respiratory failure) and deaths have been reported with H1N1 (swine) flu infection in people. Like seasonal flu, H1N1 (swine) flu may cause a worsening of underlying chronic medical conditions. " via PandemicFlu.gov
