One of the most common and most effective natural sinus treatment is steam inhalation. This is a simple thing that you can do in your own kitchen. Just get a pot and fill it half-full with water. For added measure, you can throw in a pinch of salt and eucalyptus or peppermint. Put the pot in the stove and wait for the water to boil. Once the water boils, take the pot out of the stove and place it where you can sit comfortably with your face over the pot. The idea is for you to inhale the steam for about 10 minutes. You can place a towel over your head in order to get the most out of the steam.
Another natural treatment is to drink hot tea all throughout the day. The heat of the tea will help clear out your sinuses. As a matter of fact, you can also drink hot water or broth. It is the temperature of the drink that will help your sinuses.
Alternatively, you can use a warm compress. The idea is similar to the two treatments described above. Get a warm compress and place it on the sinus area - upper part of the nose/cheeks and eyes. You can also use a warm towel for this.
