A Horex VR6 is a new motorcycle designed and built in Germany. Named for a once revered motorcycle brand that ceased production in 1956, the Horex VR6 features a supercharged, narrow angle V6 motor that produces 197 horsepower. Styling is conservative, and favors rider comfort over wind protection. Designed to be a premium brand, the Horex will be produced in limited numbers at a cost of roughly $25,000 each. The VR6 will go on sale in the EU in 2011, with U.S. sales projected to begin in 2012.
