The Navajo Nation is a self-governed Native American reservation that includes roughly 26,000 square miles in northeastern Arizona, southeastern Utah, and northwestern New Mexico. It is the largest Native American Reservation in the United States.

Navajo Code Talkers
During World War 2 the US Marine Corp used two Navajo Code Talkers to pass orders in the Pacific during the war against the Japanese Empire. The Navajo Code Talkers were influential in defeating Japan. They were used in every major battle between 1942 and 1945 in the Pacific.
